If your MP2000 shows this much memory, then it has been upgraded. If it has
been upgraded by Apple, there should be an "MP2100" sticker under the flap
next to the interconnect port. If it's not there, then it was probably
upgraded by a third-party (Dr. Newton is the most widely known supplier of
the upgrade, there have been a few other people doing it as well).
