This screams for ethernet connection. I'm sure you won't be willing to buy a
Newton serial dongle, a usb-to-serial converter and a serial cable just to
experience a very slow connection...
Have a look at the FAQ for matching cards.

I experienced myself that the Newton community is *very* newbie-friendly, so
don't be afraid to ask. You may also check comp.sys.newton.misc .
