   I hadn't seen this problem on my MP2100, but I'd never tried to set up an event that crossed a year-to-year mark.
   Just tried it using your Dec. 31 to Jan. 7 and it came up as one week, one day _ as it should.
   Are you using a Dates add-on or 'enhancement' that might be causing the problem?
