One could not simply bang off a reply as easily this way, due to the
different address. If you were responding to an already off-topic thread,
then there would be no problem. If you were responding to a message from
newtontalk-bounce_at_newtontalk.net then clicking Reply in your mail client
would send a message to newtontalk_at_newtontalk.net, rather than
offtopic_at_newtontalk.net (or whatever).
