This is usually pretty straight forward. The plug should only fit
into the one serial socket. On the emate end you'll have to tell it
to connect via serial. Sometimes there's an issue regarding the
win.ini file with NCU installation, but that usually only happens on
NT. And you may have to tell NCU which serial port to use. If in
doubt choose COMM1, I think, it's been a while, ahhhh living windows
free...:)

The version of NCU on my emate disk is the full 1.0, but you may want
to check this before you get there, as the beta is time crippled and
won't work.
