I just got rid of a 1977 chevy Nova ;-p with a v-8 engine. It was
rusting out but the engine was in great shape. I bought it at 39k and it
had 81k when I sold it. I sure miss the pick up. Upon entering the
expressway I'd floor it. It was the equivalent, to me, of the Millenium
Falcon going into Light Speed. Very cool. a nice safety feature.
Now I have an '87 Volvo wagon. It's great and a blast to drive, stick
shift, too. The pick up, though, is more like the '73 vw Beetle I used
to have in college. Why is it that I still drive like I have the Nova?...
So, I have a car that is more like an ump2k with better construction,
better features, but with an engine like a mp130. Go figure.
Keep the green thread going...
Mark
PS: you'll notice I didn't say "fords are crap".
