My MP 2000 developped the jaggies. I had tried to clean the screen several
times, but nothing worked so I stopped using it for about 2 months, maybe
longer. I made sure the batteries where still charged, but that's about it.
And then one day i tried to use it again, and the unit was fine. Used it for
about half a year after without a problem and then solld it and bought an
emate.
However: I had been using my own home made screen protectors made from pcb
free plastic that I pressed under the edges of the screen. And I'm a
nicotine addict, which means there is always some tiny bits of tabacco or
ashes on the screen. Could have been some dust that had gathered under the
edges and held there by the screen protectors.
