I study the pkg format, so I don't have point of view at this time for this
side of the problem.

I'm thinking extract on one side the text (with bookmark at the place of
graphics), on the other side the graphics in a first step.

In a second step, merge the elements with the user parameters (orientation of
the display : landscape, portrait giving by this way le number of line by page
and the size of one page).

That's the way I'm gonna use to analyze the pkg format. But with NewtonBook
Package generate by Bookmaker.

The problem is, at this point, I will have to write a " bookmaker file to NTK
pkg compiler " and that's not really easy.

Maybe It's possible to call Bookmaker and NTK functions for create pkg without
using graphic interface. At this moment, I will reconside the translation of a
PDF to a bookmaker format with great pleasure. But I don't know if it exists
APIs for this two tools (I'm gonna search).

I thank you for your presentation (I don't know the Perl). I use FreePascal
for this development.
