Let me just throw in my very personal experience with third party stylii:
I had a silver metal Trio pen which was the best I ever had. In order to
change between the different tips (stylus, ballpen & lead) you had to twist
the lower part of the pen with respect to the upper part by 120 deg. I could
do this with one hand only and without doing finger artistics. I haven't
found yet another multi-tip pen which allowes this :-(
