Yep: The family is running OS X 10.1.2 on an iMac 350 with 256 RAM and it's
quite usable (of course OS 9 is faster on that machine). My desktop is a
G4-400 with 1G RAM and I use it everyday. The only thing that is slow is
VirtualPC. Classic applications actually seem faster under X than when I
reboot natively into 9.2.2.
