That's a hell of a phone there...In the US, it's just
a dream and will likely remain a dream for many years
to come. 3G is nothing but a loss-leader in the
cellphone industry. Ericcson and Motorola have both
claimed massive losses (in the billions) and they
estimate further losses (more billions) attributed
JUST to 3G! Nokia is hedging their bets, but they
claim to not see any profits in 3G for many years
either!
A PIM is so single use, I find little value in it.
MP3? Well, I have my RIO for that, and digital camera?
Ha! Got one of those too, but for true quality images,
nothing beats my Nikon n90!
Now, My Newt is a pocket PC! (yes, I carry it in my
pocket a lot) It allows me to write documents in an
easy gesture manner, I can also load programs onto my
Newt to enhance it's capability. And now that I'm
getting a grip on Dashboard scripting, I can even
write my own enhancements.
In fact, most of the time, when I'm not near a
computer, my Newt seems to fill the void quite well.
It's the only PDA that I know that can completly
replace a desktop machine. My Newt is automonous. I
never synch it. It exists on it's own!
