It really depends upon where I intend to go.
If I am headed for campus, or anywhere else where I might need more storage
for books/shopping, I have an excellent courier-bag by Eagle Creek made from
Cordura. It is rugged and expandable, and the Newt is, by now, just thrown
inside after I put it into its neoprene bag (snug but ugly one) for safety.

This neoprene bag will be replaced by a C.E.O. leather bag this week!
EUR21,50! *whoohaa*

If I do not need that much additional space, I sometimes just use a padded
nylon bag by CaseLogic that is intended for portable drives. The thing is
not pretty, but it can hold a lot for its size. Newton + mid-size paperback
novel/manga + keys + cigarettes + iPod/MD + wallet + cellphone - no problem.
People tend to give me looks for it...maybe it is just too small for a man
to carry, or it looks dorkish, or whatever.

I really look forward to the arrival of the C.E.O., as it looks most
convenient from the pictures. I guess I will encounter much less
"outofbagandthenoutoftheneopreneohjustwheretoputtheumbrelladangmyheadphonesb
ecametangeledupwithmycoat" trouble when whipping out the Newton.

Oliver :)

PS: I once took a walk with my 2100 in my cargo pants pocket, that was *not
funny*.

PPS: Till, are you with us? I guess you should be the Bagmaster...
