It substitutes them for PostScript fonts. I write in Notes using Casual,
and all of my notes come out in Times. For some of the special chars
(Option-whatever on the keyboard) it seems to use bitmapps, I use Option-8
as a bullet character and it's a little blocky when I print it to my
Personal LaserWriter NTR.
