I was ADD before they called it ADD. Child
psychologists all said that I was "nervous" and
prescribed a really dangerous drug to solve the
problem. Dexi's. From the age of 5 till I was 16, I
was started on a 1/2 a pill to get to eventually 2
pills. Needless to say, it didn't make me a very good
student...I hate school! I hate the way teachers
teach! (no offence to any "good" teachers on the list)
and I hate everything that school stands for! I never
learned anything useful in all the many years I was
forced to attend! Well, other than what it feels like
to get punched in the eye, but I could have learned
that lesson some other way!
It sucked being ADD in the '60s!
