I went home and hard-reset the newt, I crossed my fingers and restored everything afterwards. What does the hard reset do to the newton? It's working the best it ever has, since i've had this one for the past 2 years. Feels like a new newt!

I hate to burst your bubble but I did a hard reset to clear my case of
the jaggies a couple weeks ago, but they're back. I'm going to take
apart the newt and clean contacts to see if that makes any difference.
Since we have no clear answer as to what causes it, when I get my 2K
sent from Canada I'll try to switch sceens and see if that makes a
difference.
