I have 'rescued' five second-hand Newts. with this problem. One I use
everyday with 'no' jaggies.
I have always cured jaggies via software.
Most were conflicts between modem strings, figured it out by swapping modem
card and memory cards, it got worse with the modem installed.
I'm trading a 'good Newt.' for Chris C.'s 'bad Newt.' He's a 'LaNUG'
member, just another benefit...just like a door-prize for a set of unna.org
