I'm sure you'll get a better response from someone else soon, but in the
mean time... Remove the back cover and you'll see the backup battery srcewed
into position above the AA battery compartment. It's one of those flat
lithium batteries ie., the batteries used in cameras and watches. Just take
it out and check the size. I can't remember what size it is off the top of
my head, but I know that I found a replacement with no problem at our local
Wal-Mart.
