I payed $10 for mine and I have yet to use it.... It's just a backup
against the rainy day when my Nimh dies. I must say my rechargeable
has survived LONG beyond all reasonable expectation.

How long should one reasonably expect a Nimh to last in heavy
use?Frank? Johannes?
