[NTLK] Sound Output stopped working

Hi,

since yesterday morning my MP2100 is silent; the sound output doesn't work
anymore. I was playing an MP3 stream with MAD MP3 (via WLAN) and tried to
load an HTML page simultaneously with NetHopper. The sound output stopped,
the Newton became very unresponsive, so I had to reset the machine.

After that incident, the Newton doesn't produce any sound. I can set the
volume, switch the output from Speaker to Audio Out and back, all
applications behave normally (the progress indicator in audio clips moves
when I play them), but the speaker is completely silent.

Any ideas?
