Hi all !
I'd like to do some power consumption survey. In order to check wether my
mp21k is behaving normally or not. (Though I thing it isn't) My 21K has a
12Meg memory card and modem card installed.
The figure I'm looking is for is available through Avi's Backdrop Battery
Statistics: current. What I do is open the battery statistics slip and power
off the Newton. I power on and check the current on the slip. I recheck the
current after a couple of seconds. Backlight is off.
When I power up my Newton:
Current = +- 229
After a 2 or 3 seconds:
Current = between 50 and 60
What I'd like to know is if you have the same phenomenon where at power up
there is a power drainage, which after a couple of seconds normalizes.
