That depends on other factors as well. If you have a modem or an Ethernet
card, it is quite possible that the driver using that card might want to
check if it's still available and might send it some commands, which would
require the device to go in full power mode. Then, it goes back to sleep
until you need it. I've never checked this myself, but I would think this i=
s
probably what is happening in your case.
