This product is derivative of Synchronicity 1.0 (part of FilePad) more
than anything; that was the starting point that I coded from. As for
linking... well, I think I over-simplified when I stated this. What I
wanted to do is launch the command line tool as a completely separate
task. However, upon further thought I don't know how much advantage
this will provide, and I think I'll just direct people to NewTen to
install my package without using Classic. Seems fair enough since
NewTen is a pretty decent product.
That way I can keep my product far far away from the GPL. I have no
real problem with the GPL either. But it's intention is to spread like
a virus, and I don't have any intention to GPL the software. I like the
less restrictive BSD license a lot better; it provides third-party
developers some possible monetary incentive to contribute.
