OK, perhaps I do, but not on purpose. But I remember
that Apple sold the connectivity kit seperatly and
when the MPs came out with the 2.0 OS, the older
version of the connectivity kit would no longer
connect. That was the reason for the upgraded
connectivity kit, I thought...
The only Newton I ever connected to any computer was
my Marco and Dauphin (or was that the Tarpon...) and I
am pretty sure that when I got my 120 upgraded to
OS2.0, I had to upgrade my connectivity kit. Of
course, I haven't connected my newton to ANY kind of
computer for years...Well, there was the Basilisk
thing, but that was only for proof of concept...

And btw, aren't the app and creator codes stored in
the resource fork?
