Hey guys,
I got a reply from the author of the piece on his "mis
statement":
Hi Edward,
Rarely have I been tempted to edit a comment after
publication as strongly as I am that one. However,
I'll let it stand, as-is, as it does (badly) convey my
originally intended thought, which was, "The Newton
had an operating system hugely less capable than the
Mac OS."
I would also posit that thin moments of idiocy do not
make a person, overall, an idiot; if so, I would
certainly qualify.
Thanks very much for patronizing my discussion site.
My apologies for the horrifically misstated sentence.
Take care,
Jack Campbell
