That looks like the dummy Newton that was used for point of purchase
displays in stores. It's no prototype.

Technically (and legally I suppose), all developer and prelease hardware
is supposed to be returned to Apple as per the NDA. However, this guy was
an Apple employee, so perhaps he grabbed it during a storeroom clean out.
If people got in trouble for selling obsolete Apple development hardware,
I wouldn't have all of my Newton prototypes sitting downstairs.
