Now we've been on this subject so often and so much in depth that it
starts to feel like we're beating a dead horse, not something I
personally enjoy.
Second, you're wrong, read the two quotes above and see that he never
wanted to do any of the : 'The scanning, uploading and distribution of
this book via the Internet or via any other means without the
permission of the publisher'
He clearly stated that: 'This would just be for my personal use, and
since I purchased a copy of the map book itself, this would fall well
within the fair-use doctrine.'
I'd like to see the law (read, I wouldn't like to see the law, of
course) that stops us from making a copy for our own use, that will be
the day...
