O.K. I finally managed to get my PowerBook booting up in OS
9 again. I installed NCU and rebooted under OS X, where I had
previously added the Keyspan drivers. NewTen works fine, NewtSync
works fine, Escale works about half the time. NCU only worked under
serial for about ten minutes--enough to verify it *would* export
NewtWorks files to my Mac, but not enough for anything else. The
Keyspan shows up as both Printer Port USB and as P#2KeyUSB1, but
using the Dock on the Newton fails to connect. I'd like to avoid
AppleTalk on the serial port if I can since it's already set up for
my Airport card. Any suggestions as to what to try next? I can't
really find anything that helps in the FAQ's...
