Thanks for the response, I emailed GeeThree and they told me that the I
need the housing from the original internal modem in order to use the
adapter. Too bad they didn't sell a stand alone unit. :(
The keystone adapter might work, I was just wondering if I need the serial
modem to emulate a serial connection. The modem is the only serial device
left on the Mac. I think the USB adapter uses part of this connection as a
serial port. I wish I could find that blasted article!
