I love you Australians!

I'm still trying to figure out the pome bast*** thing out. I know it stands
for prisoner of mother England, but why do Australians call the British
this? Seems backwards? I always wondered about this.

Yes thats right, nappie being deriving from napkin. However whilst you might
use a napkin at the table to wipe your face you definitely wouldn't use a
nappie!!!
