I agree. There is a lot of weight put on the hinges with this "fastening"
method and it doesn't/can't hold it that steady.

The only problem with those cases is that they use elastic straps to
hold the Newt via the screen door. After awhile it can cause the hinges
to crack. Unless you use another method of attachment which others on
this list have come up with some ingenius ways, usually with some method
of Velcro.
