I stuck my 2100 into mine today, and I would say that you can use it
unmodified, but it will be tall (not a problem to me) and the tab on
the left will sort of interfere with the zipper closing as well, and
the Newton will look a tad off-center, but worse, and something I
forgot about, is that the tab/flap that closes over the Newton will
sometimes cause your lower slot's eject button to pop out. I had
forgotten about that part. If you don't take your Newton out a lot, you
won't notice it, but if you think you would be removing the Newton a
lot, I wouldn't try. I would go for the modification that has been
mentioned on this list several times in the past few days, or, if you
don't like gluing velcro on the back of your Newt, just bypass it, and
go for something else.
