Hi David,
I've been using ATA support on both 64 and 128mb CF cards for quite a
while now (could it really be about a year??) and I've found it to be
very reliable and largely a "fit and forget" option.
I'm sure Paul will say it's not a production product and is still in
beta but I'm running it and my CF cards as my main storage without data
security problems.
My only real gripe with it is the speed of writing to the CF card. It
can be very slow. In day to day use, taking notes, adding dates etc. you
won't notice it but to download a 4 minute track from iTunes to MadMax
could take 30-40 minutes over ethernet.
Apart from the above moan, I like it a great deal.
Cheers.
Andy.
