I leave mine in browse mode all the time - when I mention download I
mean that I tapped the message labeled 'remote' and caused it's full
text to be pulled from the server - also marking the local copy as
'read'

This WOULD work I guess - but it's not what I really would like, i'd
like to be able to have mail V redownload the content of a specific
email or two - not have to resync the entire mailbox headers for ~ a
thousand emails to fix one little problem.

Agreed - even with a few little things like above it has been an
IMMENSELY USEFUL program
