I agree that it is most likely a heap issue. NewtsCape is quite stable
on my 2100 which has closer to 300K heap available. As I understand it
Newtscape downloads the content of the web site and presents it in
Newton Book layout so insufficient heap would be an issue. The only
time I had problems was when I was downloading a number of maps from
the CIA World book and saving them as Works documents, the first few
went OK but I eventually had a major crash.
For quick browsing or package downloading I prefer Courier, it is
faster and much more memory economical.
