I just got an eMate and wondered about the hinge repair. Everything works
fine now other than it needs a new battery.

Will all eMates eventually need the hinge repair? I read a post from
somebody about oiling their hinge. Is there any way of telling that does not
involve disassembly?

Is there instructions on oiling the hinge anywhere, as to what type of oil
and exactly where to apply?
