The main problem with a CF card type GPS antennas (and the Newton 120
or 130) is the fact that IT IS occupying your one (and only) expansion
slot. Without the expansion slot available, you do not have any storage
space left for even a small highway map.
Although the CF solution would work fine for Fieldwork type of
applications (data acquisition), if you want to use GPS Map AND load
custom topo maps, you will need a 4MB Flash Card (or more) in your
external slot.
