Hi,
I'm a new Newton user with a MP2000 (not upgraded, running OS 2.1) and
I'm still learning how to work with the platform and what connection
utilities work best. I have successfully connected my iBook (10.3.7)
with the Newton via the Kensington USB serial adapter, and using
EScale, I have been able to load packages.
Now I am trying to sync my Address Book, iCal calendars, and the clock
with the Newton using NewtSync 0.3.3. I am able to make NewtSync
connect to the Newton and have gotten the clock to sync successfully.
Also it has gone through the process that appears to be sending all
addresses and calendar items (with it taking a long time the first
time, processing each entry, as I would expect). But when I go into
Names or Dates on the Newton, there are no entries. It's as if it goes
through the motions of a sync but nothing sticks.
Has anyone else had this problem? Since it is a pre-1.0 release, could
it be a NewtSync bug? I am quite sure I am doing something wrong, but
I can't figure out what.

has been a great help as I get started with my new Newt.
