Given the death of my old MP130, and the comatose condition of my
MP2100, I think it may be a good idea to create a Newton Morgue=2E The
idea is similar to that of the Einstien project, except that The
Einstien project deals mainly with understanding how the newton works
so that we can make new and better Newton stuff, while the Death
listing would deal with how Newtons fail, so that we can maintain
what we have for posterity=2E Imagine the following:
A young newton user inherits an MP130 from his father after his
father gets an MP2000=2E The boy is elated, but soon finds that the
power switch is acting weired=2E He decides to look it up on the Death
Listing, and finds out that a part of the case causes a power
rugulator to break away from the board=2E He opens the ailing Newt and
corrects the problem=2E All thanks to the people who dissassembled the
dead units to find out what killed them=2E
What do you think=3F
I'd be happy to start the project, but, being only 17, I have little
electronics experience and would need help=2E
