I'd say if you're getting 12 hours of daily use battery life, then you're probably doing about as well as can be expected. You could, of course, tear everything apart and build a new cell pack out of a bunch of 2300 mah rechargeable batteries. That would be a PITA, and the expense and work would not be justified in this case.
