Ha! I'm one of the people who got a copy from Woody, and I'm using it
for timelining my novel. :-) (Which just happens to have been written
entirely on a newton and features a newton-successor as the ubiquitous
general-purpose portable personal everything machine... the funny thing
is, the only new features I gave it were a colour screen and a new data
interface, and the colour screen is barely mentioned.)

I talked to the company who holds the copyright - they still sell
versions of TimeLiner (they're up to version 5 now I think) but only for
windows and mac. I asked about getting v 1.1, which I believe is the
last TimeLiner emate version, and they refused to sell it to me (said
they didn't have it available) or to give me permission to make a copy
of an existing version because they didn't want me to use "such an old
version". Too bad, because 1.1 seemed to have everything I need!
