I can feel for you there....While I'm about as far
from the concept of Obsessive compulsive, when it
comes to my spare brain (My Newt) I am dogged in my
persuit of backing up my stuff! I cannot imagine being
without my newt for any length of time. Things in life
are categorized in two groups; Need and Want. And
costs associated with these groups are necessarily as
important.
For instance. I *need* to eat, but I *want* to go out
to a restaurant. But if I have no food in the house,
the *want* becomes a *need*. Justifications can be
manipulated in this way.
This is the path that my Newton took.
It started out as a *want* and remained so for several
years. Now I have become so dependant on this little
device, it is now categorized as a *want* to such an
extent that my travel plans revolve around my ability
to bring my Newt with me comfortably.
Well, I *need* to go now, because I *want* to backup
my Newt...
