I think that this is a great idea, but it would be better to get
something a bit newer that has standard pcmcia slots so that you can
inexpensively have the option of ethernet. Or a Powerbook (my option).
Though you should be able to use your g5. I found that when I
upgraded from Panther to Tiger, I had more trouble with Classic. I
find that an external or seperate hard drive gives better results.
