There is _no_ market. This group is the last little bastion of Newton
fans. Any product that is created for the Newton can sell an absolute
maximum of what, maybe 50 copies, most likely much less. $66 times 50
equals $3300. That buys you software development for less than a
week, and I doubt very much that anyone can write an ATA driver in
that time. I'd also be very surprised if more than 20 copies were
ever sold, making the relations even worse.

Point is, anyone developing software or hardware for the Newton does
it purely for entertainment. No matter how much one asks for a piece
of Newton software or hardware, there is no financial gain, simply
because the number of maintained platforms is much too low.

Writing yet another Sudoku for WindowsCE and selling it for $5 would
be a much better idea (and could be done in under a day).
