Dear all,
sorry for reposting this after only a day of waiting for an answer,
but I thought my previous title might have been misleading. And
I'd simply hate to buy an MP3-Player while my 2100 fits my
audio needs perfectly.
I somehow managed to lose that MP3 to PKG converter
for Windows. Traces on the web are sparse, yet the relevant
file seems to have been named
NewtMP3Conv.exe
Worked like a charm for me. The original site
of developer Vincent Lee (?) seems to be gone. But
I've learned via the wayback machine now
that the executable was stuffed into an archive called
mp3c.0.2a.zip
Neither seems to be retrievable on unna.org, and try as I might,
I can't find them elsewhere on the net.
Do they linger on the DVDs recently distributed via torrent?
Does anybody have them or know where to find them?
I'd be most gracious indeed. Like I mentioned, I don't need another piece
of hardware when my 2100 can do anything I want in mobile audio.
And yes, I do know about mp3builder, and no, I don't see how it could
be a viable alternative on WinXP.
Best,
Marcus
