Before you give up completely, I have another suggestion, based on my
wired 'manual' ethernet configuration:
The Primary DNS/Name Server Address field should contain the IP address
of a name server out on the internet (not on your LAN, as your
configuration shows). You can also add an alternate address. Your ISP
should have provided you with these numbers. However, if you don't have
them handy, you can use the OPEN DNS server numbers.
Primary: 208.67.222.222
Alternate: 208.67.220.220
I have an auto configuration that contains _only_ the following, which
also works fine:
Configuration: DHCP Server
Card: Megahertz 589E (you would set yours to WaveLAN/IEEE, I presume)
Domain Name: rochester.rr.com (this is my ISP)
When closing, disconnect after 5 minutes
