On 10 Feb 09 I PAID for a ticket to "WWNC 2009" AND have a receipt. The
WWNC 2009 web page says: "Accommodations (cost born by attendee) have
been secured at a hotel downtown: once you sign up for the WWNC 2009, a
room will be booked for you on your behalf."
However, after several emails to the email address listed as the
contact/inquiry address, physicalconstants@yahoo.ca, I have not received
the promised info regarding any hotel reservation other than one that
said "I'll get back to you next week" 2 months ago.
Has anyone else paid for what is fast looking like a scam?
I'm still planning on going to Vancouver as part of a trip along the
Oregon/Washington coast with stops at Mt. St. Helens, Crater Lake, and
Lava Beds National Monuments on the return leg; it just looks like I
won't be attending a "WWNC 2009".
