[NTLK] To keep or not

I have Windows XP home edition. As I understand it, the Pro version
with IIS is required to set up a personal web server. Assuming there is
a way around this, I'd have to find an ethernet card for the Newton. I
have a lot of stuff but not that. I believe the PC side has that built in.
I did try to connect with a PC that had a serial port but it was still
too fast. Even 'slowdown' did not help. I use a USB modem for dialup
on the PC. I know I could get a USB to serial adapter but this PC (a
hand me down) is a 2.0Ghz Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core. I don't think it will
recognize the poor little Newton.
This weekend I should have the old PC set up. I installed a hard drive
and Windows 98 last night. This weekend I can dig out RCU, NCU, NBU and
whatever else to see if I can connect. I have CD's of software (share
and bought ware) that I can browse through. Also books.
