Ross,
I have been a member of this list for many years, kind of lurking around until I could be of help to someone like you! I am a Apple IIs and Macs hardware expert but don't dabble with the programming aspect of the Newton but do have a collection of Newtons and accessories that I planned to use and/or sell. I waited to long for doing that and they are neatly packed away for safe keeping.
Where are you located??(because some members of this list are not in the US)
To introduce myself, my name is Steven M. Spiegel. I live in Aliso Viejo which is in South Orange County, California, USA.
I'm was a Manufacturing Engineer in Electronic Assembly and have been servicing Apple IIs and Macs since 1982(34 years and have amassed many parts and sub assemblies for both Apple IIs and Macs until a few years ago when my wife asked that I recycle the Apple II stuff since I hadn't had any requests for Apple II repairs for over 5 years. However I still happen to have a collection of keyboard parts(switches & keycaps) all sorted and stored in small bins in my workroom. I should have what you or others may need. Also I have a few left over Apple IIc's and IIc+'s. Don't hesitate to contact me regarding anything you may need as I may have what you need.
Regards,
Steven M. Spiegel
