Lou,

If I left my car on the highway (ie: ABANDONED it, not 'had a flat')
and someone came to snag a few parts, you think I care? I left it
there because I no longer wanted anything to do with it.

Piracy (IMHO) killed the Commodore 64 before it's time. I remember
having access to software before it had even made it to the shelves.
It was rampant. This is NOT the same thing. I seem to remember a
number of people here encouraging the support of those software
developers still available and around. Personally, I've spent a ton
on software. But there are some who simply have abandoned the
platform and want nothing to do with it. Call Iambic. Call TeleType.
Call HexDump. There are others. TRY TO BUY the software. I understand
your concern, but what we're talking about here is not degenerating
into a pirate swap meet. I've known pirates. No need to slap on the
eye patch.

John
