As for the PrintPack, it depends on what printer you have. If you have a
network PostScript printer, you won't need the PrintPack, nor will you if
you use the StyleWriter I,II or 1200, nor the Personal ALW 300. These all
have built-in drivers. If you wish to use, say an Epson Stylus, or a Canon,
then you will need the PrintPack.
As for the Etherlink III. Is it the combo card 3C562/563 (BC or D series)?
If so, it won't work. I have one sitting right in front of me, and it won't
work in my Newton, nor in my Macs. :-(
In fact, I've had a horrible, absolutely horrible time trying to find an
ethernet PC card that will work in my wife's PowerBook 1400. Any ideas
anyone? :-)
